The Ascend: Elegance in vertical living

A narrow urban plot turned into a vertical residence built around a sculptural timber staircase. The stair connects four levels and doubles as the home’s main light well.

Slatted oak screens filter daylight and give privacy from the street. Compact rooms feel larger thanks to full-height glazing and a calm, limited palette of oak, white plaster and black steel.
